The 30th meeting of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Youth and Sports was held

The 30th meeting of the ‘Standing Committee on Ministry of Youth and Sports’ of the 11th National Parliament was held today at the Parliament Building under the chairmanship of the committee president Abdullah Al Islam Jacob.
State Minister in charge of Youth and Sports Ministry, Md. Zahid Ahsan Russell, Abdus Salam Murshedi, Jewel Areng, A. M. Naimur Rahman and Zakia Tabassum participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, the overall activities of Bangladesh Carrom Federation were discussed in detail. Besides, the implementation progress of the decisions taken in the previous 29th meeting was reviewedThe standing committee expressed its displeasure over the fact that the victorious Bangladesh women’s football team could not participate in the Paris Olympic qualifiers and recommended the ministry to seek an explanation through a fair investigation as the speech of the Buff President has tarnished the image of the government and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Secretary and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Director General of the Directorate of Youth and Sports, heads of various organizations along with the relevant officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat were present in the meeting
