Cabinet Secretary’s meeting with the Speaker

Jatiya Sangsad, Speaker of Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad. Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain paid a courtesy call on Shireen Sharmin Chowdhury MP today at her office in Sangsad Bhavan. During the meeting, the Cabinet Secretary informed the Speaker about the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony of His Excellency the newly elected People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
It is to be noted that the swearing in of His Excellency the President of the newly elected People’s Republic of Bangladesh will take place at 11 am on 24 April 2023. Bangladesh National Parliament Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury MP will read the oath.
Meanwhile, senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat were present.
