The 16th meeting of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Public Administration of the 11th National Parliament was held today at the National Parliament Building under the chairmanship of the Committee President HN Ashikur Rahman MP.
Committee members and State Minister of Public Administration Ministry Farhad Hossain MP, Panir Uddin Ahmed MP, Ferdausi Islam MP and Mokabbir Khan MP participated in the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the progress of implementation of the decisions taken in the 15th meeting and updated the progress of the recommendations of the 1st to 15th meeting with a view to approval of the 1st report of the Assistant Committee.
The committee expressed satisfaction that land related problems of the common people have been solved to a large extent as a result of modernization of land management and recommended the Ministry of Lands to take necessary steps to increase the land related facilities of the people by further modernizing the land management.
In the meeting, it was recommended to the concerned ministry to take quick action to determine the price of the land based on the cluster by inspecting the land instead of the average value of the deed to determine the Mauza rate of the land.
The meeting was attended by senior secretaries of the Ministry of Public Administration, secretaries of various ministries and senior officials of the National Parliament Secretariat.
