DHAKA, April 15, 2022 – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today lauded the pragmatic and timely steps of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina led government during the COVID-19 situation.
“The timely decision of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has kept the country’s economy dynamic even in the COVID-19 situation,” she said.
She was addressing as the chief guest at an iftar party held at the Grand Hall of Family World in city’s Asadgate area under the arrangement of the Pirganj (Rangpur) Samity in Dhaka.
With Pirganj (Rangpur) Samity president ANM Al Firoz in the chair, members of the advisory council Engineer SM Golam Mostafa and former general secretary of the Samity Sirajul Islam Siraj, former president of the Samity Md Jahangir Alam and former special assistant to the Prime Minister Selima Khatun also spoke, among others.
