A notification in this regard was issued by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on February 27. On these allegations, as per rule 3 (b) of the Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 2018, a departmental case was filed against Abdur Raqib Khan on charges of misconduct and he was directed to show cause. An investigating officer was appointed in the departmental case and Abdur Raqib Khan was suspended.
The investigating officer Moha. An inquiry report has been submitted stating that the allegations of misconduct against Abdur Raqib Khan have been proved. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the complaint and all the relevant factors in the overall review, the primary decision was taken to remove Abdur Raqib Khan from service as per the rules and a second show cause notice was issued to him.
The reply to the second notice, inquiry report, relevant matters, seriousness of the offense etc. are referred to the Public Works Commission for advice on imposing the penalty of removal from service. Later, the Public Works Commission Secretariat recommended severe punishment of removal from service.
The notification also said, Moha. The President agreed to the proposal of ‘removal from service’ against Abdur Raqib Khan as the charges were proved. He was then removed from the job. His order of suspension has been revoked due to his removal from service. He will not get any arrears during suspension.
